Tarot is a tool.
It is a diagram.
It is a portal.

The artwork in The Somnambulant Tarot represents my unique style and perspective. The images are illustrative with an abstract and surreal edge. Each drawing is intensely and intentionally crafted to evoke a meaningful and profound connection to the symbolism and depth of the card.

The deck is inspired by the 1909 Tarot deck from Pamela Colman Smith and Arthur Edward Waite. However, the individual meanings of the cards are heavily influenced by my own philosophy and spirituality.

Each element of every drawing is intentional. The subjects, the poses, their items, their actions, the elements in the scene, the environment, and the time of day (indicated by the celestial bodies) all contribute to interpreting the meaning of the card. In this way, readers have an ample amount of imagery to work with when they use the deck.
